New Gaia is currently on hiatus. It's not technically finished, but that has more to do with what I've envisioned for the story than any actual loose ends.
Since I wrote the story as a collection of shorter episodes in a longer series, it isn't really cliffhangered. I was obviously setting things up for the next chapter, but the story arc for the last individual episode/chapter ends with an actual conclusion.
I do hope to one day get back to this story and finish it up, but I also want to make a few revisions here and there regarding the green technology I mention, and also incorporate things I've learned about historical engineering from more recent archaeological excavations I've watched in documentaries and lectures.
But right now, my focus is more on my other stories and I tend to follow my muse rather than fight it.
All this is to say, if you get a Story Membership for New Gaia, you'll receive access to a mostly completed story that I don't intend to change that much.
You also won't get any email updates about it for quite some time, though you may occasionally receive notices regarding new free stories I've made available for all my readers.
And if you're really curious about how I intend to end the story, you can just email me and ask me and I'll tell you. I don't have a problem giving away spoilers.
If all that sounds good to you, then after you click the Story Membership button below, make sure to select New Gaia from the list of stories and then complete your purchase so you can continue reading where you left off:
Or if there are other stories on the site that interest you, consider going for a full Site Membership and you'll get instant access to not only New Gaia, but all the other stories on the site, including whatever new stories I add in the future:
