Bet you were shocked to see the date change, huh? :)

Sorry about that. I've been kind of busy with renovating the rest of the house and working on therapy stuff (both are going well, by the way, though it's been stressful). I just realized it's been eight months and figured I should give everyone an update on what's going on.

First, if you haven't been to the site since before January and don't know about the new subscription website, you should probably go read the January 2006 Archive page to bring you up to speed as to what it is and why I'm doing it.

Now, to the rest of you, I would like to thank everyone who has signed up to the subscription pledge mailing list to let me know you support me. With being busy, I haven't been keeping track of it, but I check it out every now and then and just keep getting amazed at the number going up. One of the last times I checked, it was at 70-something. Then someone wrote a semi-rude letter expressing their annoyance at my plans to charge for my stories and I found the number had jumped to 97, and now I just looked at it this weekend, and it's broken the triple digit barrier at 101 members. So, thank you. And I'm really sorry I haven't been able to get my butt into gear and get the new website going. Hence, this little life news update to let you know why.

If you've been following these updates, then you know Corene and I spent last year working on the bedroom (you can take a look at what we've done on the website I created for my out-of-state family at https://www.kodiwolf.com/RenBed/. Well, since then, we've moved on to the bathroom, which is almost done (I just have to put the electric heat vent back, put the three baseboards around it back, replace the thermostat, finish painting and hanging the door, caulk a few stray cracks, paint the caulk so it disappears, take pictures for the bathroom website I'm creating, and it's done... I think :)). Then, I'm going to move on to painting the hallway, the living room, the kitchen (which includes the cabinets), and possibly the office and its two closets, if I have enough time before the weather gets too cold to leave the windows open for ventilation. I also have the hallway and kitchen/dining area to tile (peel n' stick vinyl, so it's not too difficult; Corene and I just have to lay down leveler so that the pattern on the old sheet vinyl doesn't come up through the new tile in a year).

So, even though I'm writing in between working on this stuff, I don't expect to get back to it full time until winter, so you shouldn't expect to see the new site or updates until sometime after the new year. I know nobody wants to hear that, and it probably seems like I'm never going to update again, since it's been so long already, but I am still writing, so I know I will have updates at some point, just not for a while yet. All I ask is that you stick with me. The truth is, if I wasn't still writing, I would have pulled my site down a long time ago, and even if I hadn't, I definitely would have after getting my work stolen, but my site is still up, I'm still writing, and I have no plans to stop, so I hope you guys will bear with me. :)

Well, I hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend. Take care.

Hey,

Sorry for the fake out, but I don't collect email addresses for marketing purposes.

I was just told I needed an email signup form on my pages, so I created this one as part of the original design, then changed my mind, but decided to leave this here as an Uno reverse card. :)

Anyway, my stories are my sales pitch and if the free chapters (and entire books) aren't enough to convince you to pay for access to more of the same, then I don't see how my bugging you with emails is going to change your mind.

Plus, I have social phobia and trying to come up with marketing emails is my definition of an anxiety-inducing nightmare.

Not to mention that's not what I want to be doing with my precious writing time or wasting your precious reading time.

So, if you want to get an email from me, you'll either have to purchase a Story or Site Membership, or email me directly and talk to me about my stories.

Or ask me a question and I'll do my best to answer.

But seriously, email me about my stories.

Tell me what you liked, what you wish I'd done differently, your favorite scenes.

Especially if there's one story in particular you'd like me to update. I know some of them have been sorely neglected and it motivates me to work on them when my anxiety and chronic pain are making that more difficult than usual.

Hope to hear from you soon. :)

Take care,

Kodi
